Strong Password

What is password actually? 

"a secret word or phrase that must be used to gain admission to a place."*

"a string of characters that allows access to a computer, interface, or system."*

From technical point of view, password can be used in many different ways, mostly it just allows an access to the resources but its role ends with simple comparison of strings. On the other hand, passwords are used as a key or "key to make a proper and complex key" which is used in data encryption process. 

The more complex (long and complicated) the password is the strongest the encryption will be. You should know that these makes the password strong:

• at least 6 characters
• contains small letters
• contains capital letters
• contains numbers
• contains symbols
• does not represent anyones birthday or any anniversary date
• does not represent anyones name or nickname
• better if it does not have any human meaning at all

How to create the perfect password then? answer is simple, use a tool!

With this new update the Secure Temple application version 1.1.0 is equipped with password generator. How simple is it now? just press a button and you will have strong password candidate.

With this new update I have also introduced a new way to access the database - the Temple. One can make the Main Temple and define type of password to. If digital one is preferred (even if its not strong enough) by using randomly generated keyboard we can protect ourselves from 3rd party observers. Try it! let me know your opinion.

I took me some time, to put stone on stone and build the Temple but I've succeeded! Finally the Secure Temple is available for all on the Apple Store.

I did all my best to make it perfect but I know it still needs some work to do, some improvements, new features but this is future - now, lets enjoy!

The need was first

It started with a need. Didn't You All noticed that every year there is more and more new passwords in our lives? Password to the computer at home, password to the computer at work, password to phone, bank (usually more than one), PINs, e-mails, web pages, social networks, applications and etc. etc. I have counted more than 60 different passwords I currently use, should I memorise and remember them all? - its not possible!

20% of this 60 need to be changed every 3 months as this is required by the systems and the truth is that for security reasons all of them should be frequently changed.

Passwords need to be complicated and complex (small and capital letters, numbers, special symbols should be used) - but it makes our lives even more difficult.

We need a tool, something that will help us with this. So I decided to make one, the one I would trust and the one that meets my expectations. 

I decided to build a temple, the Secure Temple for my secrets.
